[MX] Bulk Upload - Payment complement (Complemento de Pago)

A payment complement (Complemento de Pago) records a payment received for invoices that were issued as deferred or installment payments (PPD). Invoices paid at the time of issue (PUE) do not need one. For the general upload steps and format rules, see the Mexico bulk upload manual.

Fill in the Complemento de Pago tab and upload it in its own file, with the payment complement adapter.

How rows work

  • One payment complement records one payment.
  • Each row is one invoice paid by that payment.
  • If the payment settles several invoices, add one row per invoice with the same Invoice External ID. Repeat the complement, buyer and payment columns with the same values on each row.
  • For a second payment, issue a new payment complement with a different Invoice External ID.

Things to check before uploading

  • Each paid invoice was issued as a deferred or installment payment (PPD).
  • Original Invoice UUID is the SAT folio fiscal of each paid invoice.
  • Remaining Unpaid Balance = Previous Balance − Paid Amount, and it is 0 (not empty) when the invoice is fully paid.
  • Payment Method Installment counts up from 1 for each invoice.
  • The sum of Paid Amount across the rows equals the payment.
